It’s all well and good swearing under your breath when a project isn’t going the way you want it to but how do you actually make progress? Sometimes you have to see the problem from someone else’s perspective.

My wife and I both attended and completed several courses with Landmark - the supposed ‘brainwashing cult’. It isn’t. But it does make you more aware of how your words ‘land’ with the other person. Imagine sitting on their shoulders listening to yourself spouting forth. If you don’t engage them, it’ll all fall on deaf ears as they will put up the barriers and defend their point of view. So listen, share and resolve issues in a respectful way up-front for everyone’s sake.

I use the above image as a friendly way of saying ‘we’re all not necessarily starting from the same place’ - or have the same goals and aspirations - so make sure it’s all agreed, before we all start wasting time and money.
